About ChatGPT-3.5-Turbo

ChatGPT for dummies.

A tool developed by OpenAI, ChatGPT is designed like a chat engine that one can talk to and get things done online.

ChatGPT is able to both chat and also work as a virtual assistant. It can also be used to automate chats between any two parties, like between a website visitor or customer and the website.

More technically, it is a large language model - able to process natural language and write naturally, with proper grammar and meaningful sentences.

It is able to do so because it has been pre-trained on human conversations taking place on the web.

ChatGPT can also be used to write articles, blogs, whitepapers, website content, etc.

There is of course a cost attached to using AI tools (once the free allowance is over). The cost is calculated based on total number of characters produced (including the prompt text).

The big thing is: AI is supposed to be able to do virtually anything: write a software program, create images based on inputs, write imaginary stories, format data, play games...

It is able to do so because its language model takes into consideration billions of "factors" or "variables" to understand the requirement.

The free use of imagination of ChatGPT is also its weakness.... if you want something factual to be written. For the output could contain made-up statements.

The Turbo version is the most efficient version of ChatGPT. Before that it has made other writing models such as Curie.

To get good results from ChatGPT or any other AI writing engine, one needs to therefore create good and specific prompts that help it to 'understand' the requirements better.
